RedBug NYC and Blok Work Studio Partners with Button Up America to Support Haiti Disaster Victims


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY., Janurary 17,2010-RedBug NYC and Blok Work Studio, "Hope for Haiti" partners with Button Up America, amongst other organization to support Haiti disaster victims. The drive will run for a month, ending February 12, 2010. All donations will be submitted to Button Up America and forwarded to Haiti disaster victims. Button Up America, is a licensed organization that promotes humanitarian values and provides support for disaster victims.

On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude, earthquake hit Haiti leaving possibly more than 100,000 people dead and 1.5 homeless. Millions of organizations around the world are joining efforts, to support victims of Haiti, sponsoring various drives and benefit funds. Organizations such as "Yele," founded by Grammy-winning artist, Wyclef Jean and The American Red Cross has managed to raise Millions of dollars to provide relief.

Members of RedBug NYC Public Relations & Lifestyle Marketing Boutique and client, Blok Work Studio, a recording studio organized "Hope for Haiti," a food/clothing drive for Haiti disaster victims. The opportunity to partner up with Button Up America resulted in working with various organizations for a good cause, to generate awareness and increase support for Haiti victims

Representatives of both RedBug NYC and Blok Work Studio said, "We are grateful for the opportunity to join other organizations in efforts, to provide support and relief, for victims of the Haiti disaster; they are deep in our prayers." Members of "Hope for Haiti," are working with various communities to raise awareness about the drive.

All donations can be dropped at Blok Work Studio, located at 3323 Merritt Avenue, Bronx, NY 10457. All food should be non-perishable items, specifically canned foods. For more information, contact Ayanna Sanders at
