"Fred The Godson" Releases the Highly Anticipated "Big Bronx" Mixtape


February 23, 2010 New York, NY.,- Unsigned hyped "Fred The Godson," released his highly anticipated mixtape"Big Bronx," February 19, 2010 at East Manor, in Queens, NY. At the release party, The Godson performed hits off "Big Bronx," along side featured artist. The mixtape includes producers, Remo The HitMaker, Buda Da Future, Sev Da Producer, Clark Kent, Ninth Wonder and more.

Hosted by, "Superstar Jay," the Big Bronx mixape has twenty-one tracks with features from some of the best unsigned artist/signed Hip-Hop/R&B artist such as, Charlie Clips, Tyler Woods, Diego Cash, Christion D'OR, Cocoa Sarai, Papers, Aye-Verb, DNA, David of XL and L.A.R. The mixtape depicts the reality of life on the "grimey" streets of Bronx, NY. He tells a epic story of pain and joy on each track, his consistent metaphoric lyrics and punch lines keeps you tuned in.

The mixtape demonstrates Fred development as an Artist, he offers raw hip-hop to strip club tracks.
He also has sexy tracks such as, "Listen to Mike." In "Listen to Mike," is a unique song, Fred metaphorically reference the late Michael Jackson. Fred, shows us his smooth side with lines like, "And you are not alone, i"ll make you want to scream like Janet when you home," the lady will appreciate that line.

The mixtape also includes songs like "The Best" produced and featuring Remo The HitMaker. In the song Fred brags about his lyrical skills, "Who can f**k with me ? None of them" He stamps his mark in hip-hop, that he is "The Best." He adds an old school sound to the mixtape with tracks like, "Don't Be Late," produced by, Cool B. The Godson pays tribute to great African-Americans on track eleven "I AM," the video was shot and directed by, Mills Miller. There is also street music for the lyrical hip-hop heads like the current single, "Murder 1" and tracks "King Kong" Produced by, Buda Da Future and "Body Bag."

Fred worked on the "Big Bronx," project at BlokWork Studio, in his hometown borough, Bronx, NY. For Fred the Bronx is more than the underdog borough with the #1 baseball team. It's a place where he experienced some of the best and worse of times. The Bronx, tells the story of his life and paints a vivid picture of the "Big Bronx." In the intro Fred says, "Hip-Hop is not dead, it's revived, will survive, since I arrived," he follows up with "you will remember me ?" Is "the Godson," hip-hop dark knight ? On track 4 "Don't Want it with Me" he spits, "I'm Big Pun Pen Pal." He once made Hov break his BlackBerry, which goes to show, "when you mention the best, he better be one of them." Fred is currently working on his next project to be release Spring 2010.
